AFMA Newsletter

The AFMA newsletter is published quarterly and distributed to members, FAO Representatives, embassies, universities and marketing institutes throughout Asia and the Pacific. The purpose is to provide information of AFMA’s events and information and ideas on international regional agricultural food policy, trading and marketing

Marketers, researchers, consultants and policy makers are welcome to submit an article. The article should be story of regional study, implementation or news under the scope of agricultural and food marketing. Commodity Association Directory

After the first publication of the commodity association directory was released in October 2011, AFMA has been updating the list of agricultural associations in Asia and the Pacific to develop an informative directory. The directory includes all groups and associations involved in production and linkages between chain actors such as farmers, processors, distributors, exporters and suppliers of support services and inputs. For this publication, names and contacts of associations in Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan (ROC), Thailand and Vietnam were listed. 

The directory is updated and published annually as a useful source for all marketers and producers. AFMA is pleased to receive any updated or additional information for further improvement in this Commodity Association Directory. All contributions will be acknowledged.
